Cheryl Bolger began her career in real estate almost 20 years ago, gaining her license with Bowes & Cocks in 2000. Initially, she teamed up to work with her father John in the firm's Harcourt office.
Moving to Ottawa in 2003, Cheryl took on the challenge of the urban realty market, specializing in downtown condominium sales for city realty firm, Coldwell Banker Sarazen. She quickly gained experience and expertise was soon able to undertake the responsibility of teaching her peers at the Real Estate Board Office, where she specialized in comparative market analysis and digital realty techniques.
However, Cheryl's love of the Haliburton Highlands drew her back to Wilberforce and she convinced Coldwell Banker Sarazen to allow her to open up a 'pop-up' cottage office in the village in 2010. This soon led to working with her Dad again, who by now had opened up his own brokerage, John Bower Real Estate in the area.
Recently Cheryl and her father have become one of the most successful teams in the area specializing in selling waterfront properties on prestigious lakes including Benoir, Baptiste and Elephant lake, Esson, Paudash, Grace and Dark lakes.
John is now 80 and retiring. Cheryl is very excited to take on new challenges by joining Team Haliburton Highlands REMAX. She believes her knowledge of the lakes and villages to the east of the county, her flare for staging, and experience as an all-round realtor will bring new strengths to a team already seen as the most forward-thinking in the area.
